Queen's Park

Camping onsite in Queen's Park is the best way to enjoy Easterfest. There is a great atmosphere and it is super convenient - located right beside the festival.

There are two main sections in the campground. The lower section (youth camping area) is closer to the more ‘noisy' parts of the festival, while the top section (family camping area) is more removed. The top section also has the benefit of plenty of shady trees and we make sure that in the family area other campers keep noise to an absolute minimum after 10pm.

  • Located right next to the Easterfest venue.
  • Tents only (no caravans, motor homes or camper trailers).
  • Vehicles will be located in a separate parking area, not near your tent - be prepared to park your vehicle up to 10 minutes walk away. You will be able to drop off your equipment at a 5min loading zone within 100m of your camping site.
  • Wash up sink and hot water available in the cooking areas.
  • Complimentary boiling water and gas BBQ cooking facilities for campers.
  • No gas lights or gas equipment will be allowed on site.
  • Gas BBQ's and cookers will be supplied in the camp kitchens. You are not able to bring your own BBQ or butane cooker. Easterfest will confiscate these items if found in the camp ground. This is a regulation from Toowoomba Regional Council - but don't worry, we will provide lots more free BBQs and gas rings in the cooking area for you.

SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER

  • We suggest that groups and individuals plan to purchase tickets as early as possible.
  • Unfortunately Easterfest'ers who do not have a camping arm band will not be allowed to visit the camp sites - so plan to meet your friends and family in the main festival area.
  • You can arrive to camp from 12noon on Thursday 1st April (want to get in earlier than 12noon? Get a group of 40+ together and you can! See information for preferred groups for more details).
  • You will need to depart before 12noon on Monday 5th April.
  • Set-up in the camp sites can be a little bit crazy - so we ask you to be patient as we get everyone in and sorted out!
  • Easterfest is an ‘all ages' venue so do not bring any alcohol. If you do you will be asked to leave.
  • If you want to camp together as a youth group or with other families please arrive together. You won't be able to ‘save' space for other campers arriving later on.
  • Toowoomba normally gets quite cold at night and hot during the day, so make sure you bring plenty of warm clothes & blankets!!
